Just Zelda, Taking a new Direction
Posted July 9Just Zelda, has been around for almost 5 years now and we've been through alot.
Having been through 3 webmasters and a few layouts along with several different hosts, we've survived.
However as you may have noticed the site has started to slow down, alot...
After the largest crash that we had which was awhile ago, we lost everything. Then we re-found it. However
the guides that had been written for the games were of poor quality along with most of the content.
All the guides I have put back up are all brand new, and have been redone. And presonally I don't think its worth
it.
There are alot of Zelda websites out there that focus on Zelda game content, guides, walkthroughs, and helpful tips.
With all the websites out there that already provide these things, I do not believe it to be of any use to put up guides
for the older Zelda games, ones that very few people still play, and if they do they do not need a guide to beat it.
Thus from this moment forward, Just Zelda will no longer provide guides for the old 2d Zeldas, we will however provide
them for OOT, MM, TWW, TP and PH. Along with all the Zelda games that are to be released.
So then what will the old Zelda game pages be used for?
Well I hope to take DekuKid's idea behind the "Legends Archive" to a new level, and provide a "Legends Archive" for
each Zelda game.
I also hope to bring Just Zelda into a field of its own. Providing unique content and information that no other Zelda site
does.
hope you all agree, and if you don't I hope you will see were I am coming from.
New Staff Member
Posted May 16Well a few days ago we had received an email from a Zelda fan who was interested in working for us here at Just Zelda.
He goes by the name of Rocky Starr
He is going to be a new content writer for the site, and hopefully bring some new life to the forums.
On the topic of the forums, I am going to be creating a new set of forums. Mainly because they have basically died, and have been dead for quite a while now.
Also because the sign up portion of the forums is really screwed up and Dekukid is no where to be found.
Alot of the older members probably don't know what happened to the update I had made almost a year ago about how I had found all the old files from justzelda.zeldacentral.net and was
going to update them and put them back on the site. The problem with that is that they were so poorley written that when putting them back up, I ended up re-writting them anyways.
The lack of updates is mainly because the Zelda universe has slowed to a Halt, and I've been busy with a new job and also Graduation coming up this month.
Anyways I hope that with the new staff member we can bring this site back to its feet, get some new members and get some serious content up.
I hope you are all doing good as it has been awhile since we have spoken!! Summer is almost here!!
Legend Of Zelda Movie
Posted April 1The trailer is so amazing, I seriously wish it was true. This makes all other Zelda traliers look like garbage. Iam still in shock. Nintendo! Take a look at this and look how good a Zelda Movie really could be!!!
Zelda - The Movie
Once in a Month
Posted February 29Well it seems like the world of Zelda has come to a complete stop. Nothing in the past month has come out or been annouced. How... fun.
Anyways as you can see the site has started to slow down. Alot. Not only have my already small amount of updates seemed to drastically slow down, but they have completely stopped for the past while.
I have no reason to explain this except that I don't feel like writing up Zelda content. I don't find it entertaining anymore. However seeing as I havn't tried it for the past few month's I will give it another shot and see if anything has changed.
Smash Bros comes out in the next 10 days. I hope all who have Wii's will be purchasing there copy. I also hope to play you all online.
Once the game is out, I will make a new page on the site and forums were you will submit your Smash Bros Friend Code and we will all hook up and play.
Hope everything is going well for you guys, or atleast better then it is for me. I hope to talk to you all soon on MSN.
Hoping you had a great Valentines Day and have a good St.Patricks day!
Cya'll Next month!
Smash Bros Updates
Posted January 17
Yesterday and today have been rather large days for Smash Bros Brawl.
The revealing of another Zelda character has occured and this time it is Sheik!
Like Smash Bros Melee, Sheik will be the transformation of Zelda.
Once again I can see the arguments occuring that Zelda is a Man... For all the fools out there who believe so, here you are:
"Sheik doesn’t appear in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but we based her model on a design that was drafted up during the development of that game."
We here at Just Zelda have taken a Firm Stance that Sheik is infact Zelda in Disguise.. As it is shown through Zelda Ocarina of Time.. How it came to be that she was a man I have no idea.
As well a new 6 Minute Smash Bros Brawl Commercial has been released in Japan. Ign has also released it on their site.
Smash Bros 6 Minute Video Stream
Smash Bros Brawl has also seen another Delay in the Americas:
"Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.
I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience."
I personally am sick of the crap Nintendo is Dishing out.. This was supposed to be a Wii Release game... And it doesn't even have proper online functionality..
Nintendo Smarten up, seriously the fans are pissed...
Zo Radio

We have now joined the Zelda Oracles Radio!
The Radio is playing all the tracks from ZREO 24/7 and in the future we are probably going to organize Podcasts and maybe some other things.
So keep your ears open!
